To gain admission into Olabisi Onabanjo University;

  • You must choose OOU as your first choice of institution during JAMB registration and meet the school cut-off mark.
  • Sit and pass the post-UTME screening.
  • Check your admission status on the school portal to confirm your admission status- portal.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/admission/
  • If you are accepted, you are to make a payment of ₦ 75,000 with immediate effect through any of the University Point of Sales (POS) on any of the university campuses.
  • Present the originals and one set of the following documents to the Registration Officer or Faculty:

Distance Learning at Olabisi Onabanjo University

OOU offers an online program, B.Sc Accounting Programme. The department was established in 1982. This program is fully online but students are required to be physically present for a two-week orientation for the first two weeks of resumption on the campus, one week after the thirteen weeks of online programs for their revision, and two weeks of examination which will be held on the campus.

The admission requirements for OOU distance learning include:

Requirements for four-year degree candidates;

  • Five O-level credits in GCE, SSCE, or NECO not more than two sittings in Mathematics, English Language, and three other subjects from Economics, Geography, Commerce, Government, and Accounts& Book-keeping.
  • Required UTME score in English and Mathematics and any other two in Economics, Geography, Commerce, Government, and Account &Book-keeping.

Requirements for three-year degree candidates in addition to the requirements above;

  • OND in Accounting or Financial Studies or Business Studies of approved Polytechnic or Colleges of Technology with at least Upper Credit,
  • ICAN ATS (Final Level)
  • Foundation pass of recognized professional bodies such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, CIBN, CIA, CIS, CITN, and ATSWA.
  • Diploma in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University.
  • Diploma certificates from any other approved programs from the Social and
    Management Sciences from Olabisi Onabanjo University.
